Damn, maple syrup and shrimp? The flys will be eating better then me! I haven’t even bought shrimp for myself this year. I tried the ACV and rotting fruit and it didn’t work at all. I cut a 1 gal. bleach almost in half and then inverted the top half into the bottom Half and nope, nada, zilch. Didn’t do a thing. I just go bat shit crazy with a fly swatter. Mixed up some household chemicals in my kitchen and I’m spraying that on them too. Yes it might very well kill me in the end but I will no longer have a fly problem.

And I thought I had enough from their BS 🤣..

Ι don't know what kind of flying bugs I have in a room, they look like little flies but are not the common fly. Anyway , Vinegar and dish soap failed completely. They ignore it completely ! Also the big majority of them avoided the yellow sticky traps and the trap with plastic trap that has a powder with water that supposedly attract them.

I have dealth with a multitude of flie infestations, many while growing up. The fly itself will easily find its way into the trap, but will have a hard time getting out due to the folded plastic- flies don't fly straight, so making the hole out of weirdly folded plastic, ensures the fly stays in long enough to get caught by the non-stick watery surface. Since the bottle is technically still open, the smell from whatever you use to attract the flies will go into the air around it. What i have done in that situation is place the trap somewhere away from myself, keeping both the flies and the smell away.
